Brian is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate under the supervision of Patricia McGinnis, LPC-S. Brian began his journey toward becoming a licensed professional counselor after years of providing pastoral counseling to individuals and couples. Since 1996, Brian has served in various ministry roles as youth pastor, lead pastor, and most recently, care pastor. He enjoys working with adults who are experiencing issues with depression, anxiety, life adjustment, trauma, and shame. He is passionate about working with couples, especially those in conflict, and is level two certified by the Gottman Institute for couples therapy as well as premarital counseling. Over the past twenty years, he has worked with well over 200 couples. Brian holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Midwestern State University and a Master of Divinity from Liberty University. Brian has been married for over 30 years and enjoys spending time with his family, especially his two granddaughters. When not counseling, Brian enjoys traveling, photography, grilling on his pellet smoker, and listening to jazz music.
