Licensed Professional Counselor
Patty is a licensed professional counselor supervisor with 24 years of clinical experience. Areas of expertise include, but are not limited to Marriage and Family Therapy, Anxiety, Depression and Bereavement issues. Therapy models most often used are Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral, and Insight Therapy. Patty most enjoys her work with couples and families as they collaborate to build strong family units. She is a certified pre-marital counselor as a Prepare/Enrich instructor and is also certified as a SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) Instructor. Patty obtained her Bachelor of Science in Family Studies from Texas Tech University and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. Patty believes all people have intrinsic worth endowed by their Creator and endeavors to treat all clients with the respect they deserve. She is a member of the Focus on the Family Christian Counselors Network and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Patty has been married for 40 years and has 2 sons and 1 daughter. When not counseling she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She also enjoys gardening and baking!
