Robert Saenz is a licensed professional counselor supervisor in private practice since 2011. Since going into private practice Robert has worked extensively with men and male adolescents age 16 and over. His areas of specialization include: Men’s Issues, Problematic Sexual Behavior and Addiction, Anxiety, and Depression, and has over 20 years experience working with teens and their families. Robert earned his Doctorate of Counseling and Psychological Studies from Regent University and holds credentials with the International Institute of Trauma Professionals as a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist. Robert is bilingual and counsels both English and Spanish speakers. Robert enjoys collaborating with clients to work through the fog of adverse experiences and overwhelming emotions, toward goals, solutions, and wellness. He believes that each individual was born with an intrinsic value and is passionate to walk with his clients to believe the same for themselves and others. Robert has been married more than 27 years. He enjoys spending time with his wife and family, maintaining an active lifestyle, listening to music, reading, and having a good cup of coffee. As an experienced bilingual presenter, Robert is available upon request for speaking engagements on a variety of mental health topics including sexual addiction, recovery from shame and wellness.
